About Thad King

After being a Survey Sales Field Rep in Ohio for 10 years I was promoted to run GeoShack's internet division in Texas in December 2010. In 2014 my extensive work with robotic total stations and layout professionals, lead me into the vertical construction space and opening our BIM division. I managed that division for 5 years and in March of 2019, I took on the role of the manager of our Survey / GeoPositioning division.We specialize in helping survey and engineering companies optimize their equipment, software, and workflows to help make data flow faster from the office to the field and back. Working with survey and GIS professionals in many different markets has allowed me to meet so many wonderful people from all over North America who help map and build the world.
