A native of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Thad received his Bachelor of Science degree from The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. He spent six years in the yacht manufacturing business before obtaining his MBA from Wake Forest University. A registered North Carolina Broker in Charge, Thad worked at Preston Development Company from 2005-2019 as Vice President of Finance. He joined Liberty Senior Living in July of 2019 as a Development Manager, helping manage the entitlement and construction of the firm’s multiple CCRC locations across the Southeast. Thad has served on the Cary Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Triangle ULI advisory Board, Taylor YMCA advisory Board and is a member of ULI’s Residential Neighborhood Development Product Council. Married with two sons, Thad enjoys playing golf, fishing, restoring classic boats, and being with his family at the beach.
