Contracted to State Farm Insurance to aid in their migration of their data center from Bloomington, IL to Lisle, ILRacking and stacking of servers into assigned cabinets.Perform hardware upgrades of memory, processors, HBA and NIC cards to IBM and HP servers.Cable management of servers’ power, network and SAN connections in a neat and orderly fashion.Troubleshoot hardware problems and facilitate solutions or open Service Calls to HP or IBM for issues.Install base loads of Windows 2000/2003 server and SMS on HP DL380 and DL580 servers along with specific applications for assigned servers using State Farm’s specific installation procedures.Configure the Remote Integrated Lights-Out connections so that servers can be logged in through Internet Explorer through the State Farm network.Transition servers from Physical to Virtual environmentOpen and respond to Service Calls, Incidents and Work Orders in State Farm’s customized HP Service Desk/Service Manager and update the status of said Service Calls, Incidents and Work Orders to keep the management and Server Technician team appraised.Currently shutting down and removing servers from cabinets to ship back to Bloomington, IL for end of project.

Contracted to BankOne in Elk Grove Village, IL to be a part of their site engineering team in the building and maintaining their Regional Data Center.Racking and stacking of servers into assigned zones of the RDC.Cable and label management of servers, network and SAN connections to installed servers according to standards set forth.Troubleshoot hardware problems and facilitate solutions.Follow inventory and asset management standards and provide supporting documentation to responsible parties.Build, deploy and maintain HP and Unix servers within JPMorganChase Bank's Regional Data Center.Configuring servers’ NICs and HBA cards for the RDC network.

Contracted to the BP Refinery in Whiting, IN to assist in their migration from a Windows 2000 network to a Windows XP network.Backing up the users data, imaging both old IBM laptops and new Dell laptops and desktops with new site specific configuration, restoring backed up data and applications.
