In 2010 I partnered and created MotivFishing, a continuation of the effort previously as AEG Media to fish, film and explore the most remote areas of the world. We started this new venture and expedition by converting a Ford truck from diesel fuel to used vegetable oil and began filming, fishing and driving from Portland Oregon and eventually making it to the coast of Peru. We produced the film GEOFISH documenting the first leg of our trip through Mexico to the Central American boarder of Belize. Our mantra was Fish, Drive, Survive. We produced award winning content as we traveled the world as fly fishing ambassadors and film makers for Costa Sun Glasses and produced eleven short films in Mexico, Colombia, Nicaragua, Botswana, Papua New Guinea, Brazil, Christmas Island, Fanning Island and Guyana. As a team we all pitched in and created stories and edited our films. My primary responsibilities included creating and managing our film and travel budgets, conducted contract negotiations, cinematographer, travel and logistics coordinator, acquiring sponsorship, securing film permits with foreign governments, destination travel coordinator and local location negotiations, writing press releases, and managing social media accounts. Through this journey and into the days of filming, I had the distinct honor to professionally represent and be an official brand ambassador for companies such as Costa Sunglasses, Loop Tackle, Patagonia, YETI Coolers, Watershed Dry Bags, Brunton, Primus, Watermaster, Scientific Anglers, Airflo, Rising, NEMO Equipment, Diablo Paddlesports, Gamakatusu, Gheenoe, Skinny Water Culture, Danner Boots, and Umpqua. Many of which I still maintain close personal friendships.

In 2006 I founded, created “The Fly Fishing Film Tour” (later coined "The F3T") to help promote AEG Media’s film “The Trout Bum Diaries Patagonia, as well as give other fly fishing film makers a platform to showcase their films through an event previously not available to this scale in the industry. While touring the nation through this vein, I was able to connect with just about every major fly shop in each city stop. Since it’s creation The Fly Fishing Film Tour has grown to be the largest annual public event within the industry and screens in over 120 cities across the world. I brought the Warren Miller model to the Fly Fishing industry.

In 2007 I became a managing partner at AEG Media. This is where my skillset was enhanced from film promoter to include filmmaker. AEG Media absorbed my company The Fly Fishing Film Tour through the partnership. I continued to be the Managing Director of the film tour and also embarked on my first big film project in Mongolia where we produced the film “Fish Bum Diaries - River Wolf”. Upon its successfully completion and release I embarked with my partners on my next film project, an epic two thousand mile Steelhead journey from Portland Oregon to Telkwa British Colombia titled “Fish Bum Diaries – Metalhead”In 2008, the film tour was acquired by Webeye Group. As part of the acquisition I was brought in to continue as the Managing Director and host where I remained up until 2012.
