With a BS in Zoology from Michigan State University and a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from eCornell University, I have honed my skills and knowledge in sales, marketing, plant-based nutrition, animal welfare, and customer service.I founded Herb & Spore Vegan Hospitality Consulting to combine my professional expertise and personal passion of cooking. My goal is to help restaurants, catering companies, and hotels in Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana embrace and excel in the plant-based culinary scene.My journey into plant-based living began over four years ago, transforming my health and fueling my dedication to vegan values. This personal evolution has driven my professional goals, and through Herb & Spore, I aim to make a meaningful impact by promoting plant-based nutrition and sustainable living.Outside of work, I enjoy growing mushrooms and microgreens on my rural Michigan farm, where I experiment with creative plant-based recipes. My passion for cooking, my ADHD hyper focus on creativity in the kitchen, especially using whole foods, has led me to develop nutrient dense "Vegan Hobbit Comfort Food". In my previous roles, I have spearheaded ecommerce website overhauls, incorporating effective SEO strategies and driving significant sales growth. My experience in the trades industry in outside sales and inside sales has provided me with a solid foundation in communication, problem solving and relationship building.
