Now that you have taken the extra step to get to know me more, you won't regret it...I'm Thaddeus Oteku by name, friends call me Thaddy.I'm a pharmacy student by day and a storyteller or graphic designer at night.My journey started in 2019 due to the hunger to be a valuable person in the future.I came across a quote in a blog post that said "money comes to people who possess value" and I decided to test that out by working on myself in all areas of my life such as academics, skillset, and business.2019 I got admission into the prestigious University of Benin in Nigeria to pursue a PharmD degree, it was my first leap of faith that indeed anything is possible if you work hard because as of 2018 I was studying Chemistry, then retook the entrance exam - JAMB during the process and it was a success. That same 2019 I started learning social media graphic design and in 2022 I launched a brand known as SGDB. Our aim over there is to train people (without a PC) to become skilled social media graphic designers.But early 2023 I handed the running operation of SGDB to my best student and started looking for new things to spend my time on. Early 2020, I also developed the love for storytelling because I used to watch a lot of YouTube videos concerning tech. startups (their method of operation, successes & failures) and trendsAnd knowing fully well that a lot of persons here in Nigeria do not have the luxury of data to burn on YouTube watching lengthy documentaries, I decided to summarise the lessons that I learnt and make it available in form of written content.At first the content creation was going on in my WhatsApp status, not until a close friend of mine advised me to take my skill to X (formally Twitter), which I did early 2023 and after grinding on the platform for some months, I launched a new brand that centres of storytelling known as Nigerian Pen. Our aim over there is to make information entertaining and accessable to everyone in the world.
