My main interest in employment is to continue exercising my technical skills. My college experience had a lot of gaps between the theory and the practical applications I have worked with, but professionally I saw it's results in general coding experience. I have a small edge over my piers in set logic and mathematical functions and many small things that were sacrificed for the big picture. Outside of professional experience this is more pronounced I have made a chess game with working AI and I have twice made a ray tracing graphics engine once with C++ and OpenGL and once with JavaScript and HTML5.I am proud to have taken part in the Onshore Outsourcing two month winter of 2012 Java boot camp, The C# retrain, and the fall VB.NET training. This was all market directed, by business for business training of Onshore workforce. I was also supported in my personal studies by Onshore and the Onshore community for approximately 1000 additional hours of personal study focused on web development technologies and methodologies.My professional experience was greatly enhanced by working with a superb team lead who shored up weak areas and guided us to being functionally independent.

  I worked in intranet and internet application support for a large retail company. My team and I maintained a large number of early .NET and classic ASP applications. We worked with active directory, silent login, web services, COM components and scheduled jobs written mostly in VB6. This job gave me a lot of experience writing custom SQL queries and enhancing pages with jQuery.
