As a Mechanical Engineer at JKR Sarawak, I manage, design, and maintain various government projects related to building mechanical services, such as HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. I ensure the quality and compliance of the designs, drawings, and specifications, and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and clients throughout the project lifecycle. I also provide technical support and troubleshooting for any issues or challenges that arise during the project execution or operation.Before joining JKR Sarawak, I gained valuable experience in different sectors, such as chemical production plant operation and maintenance, and crane maintenance and installation. I worked as a Production Engineer at OCIM SDN BHD, where I operated and maintained the Trichlorosilane PS 1 chemical production unit, supported the turnaround and shutdown planning and execution activities, and monitored and controlled the bag filter operation and emission quality. I also worked as a Crane Engineer at MS Time Sdn Bhd, where I performed field service, operations, installations, and maintenance of electric overhead travelling crane, hoist, and pedestal crane. Additionally, I completed an engineering internship at Qasturie Offshore Engineering Sdn Bhd, where I learned about the offshore oil and gas industry and the engineering aspects of it focusing on QAQC.I hold a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) with Honours in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, where I was on the Dean's List for three semesters. I am registered as a graduate engineer and technologist with BEM, IEM, and MBOT, and I have completed fundamental BIM training for mechanical building services. I am also self-enrolled in Lean Six Sigma training and aiming to achieve certification up to Black Belt level. I am constantly looking to increase my knowledge, experience, and professional credentials.I am open to any opportunity in the fields of maritime, petrochemical, or energy, where I can apply my skills and competencies in field operations, field service, planning, production, maintenance, and quality assurance or control.
