I’ve had the privilege of serving some of the Industries’ finest Engineers, Plant Managers, Facility Managers, Maintenance Managers and Construction Managers to achieve their goals and provide quality electrical and mechanical systems, within budget, on time and in a safe manner! For a decade I’ve worked with a crew of over 150 men and women, consisting of some of the most talented PLC Control Techs, Electricians, Pipe-Fitters, Welders, HVAC Techs, Sheet Metal Fabricators, Estimators & Project Managers in our Industrial market. I contribute a small piece to the years of experience at Freedom in the Industrial BioPharma, Food, Wood & Auto markets - several centuries combined!1999-2011 Vocational Ministry Leadership. For 12 years I served in various forms of Vocational Ministry Leadership. A few of the skills I developed include empathy, compassion, conflict resolution, decision-making, coaching people to achieve their goals, verbal and written communication, public speaking, strategic planning, executive leadership, motivating and emotional intelligence. Some of the most rewarding times of my life have come through serving people on their own life journey! 2003 Inco, Electrical Helper. During a unique transition in our family’s life, Doug Ezzell hired me to work on an electrical crew in a pharmaceutical plant in which I learned the basic skills of electrical work and the dynamics of industrial pharma maintenance and construction. Eventually members of that crew joined Freedom Industries and recruited me in 2011.2012-2021 Bi-Vocational Church Planter & Community Volunteer. For 10 years, congruent with my tenure at Freedom Industries, my family and I planted a church and served the interests of our neighbors and local community of downtown Rocky Mount. Through the years we’ve learned valuable skills such as servant leadership, listening, boundaries, empowering others, working in diversity and placing the interests of others before our own.
