As CEO of MucoLife Therapeutics, the cornerstone of my mission is to revolutionize the treatment landscape of mucus-related diseases of the lungs, with a focus on COPD. With more than 20 years of research experience in cell and mucin biology and a proven track record in team management, I strive to develop innovative solutions that address the unmet need of patients.My lab in the world-renowned Mucin Biology Groups at University of Gothenburg is dedicated to uncovering the molecular mechanisms of transmembrane mucins in innate defense systems of epithelial cells against the gut microbiota. Leveraging a translational platform, we're translating our discoveries in mucin biology to solve real-world problems for patients suffering from inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
