A Health Economist with more than 10 years of work experience in academics, pharmaceutical industry, and consultancy. My expertise and interests lie in health technology assessments (HTA), health economic modelling, healthcare data analysis and decision analysis. I have hands-on experience in a range of software and programming languages including R, R Shiny, R Markdown, MS Excel, VBA, and Simul8. I have had experience analysing Hospital Episode Statistics (HES) data in the UK. I have great knowledge of the health care system and the HTA process in the UK. I was working in various health economics research projects at the University of Sheffield from 2015 to 2023, gaining hands-on experience from data analysis to cost-effectiveness modelling. I was also a lecturer teaching in the MSc Health Economics and Decision Modelling at the University of Sheffield. I was the co-lead for the module Economic Evaluation in the MSc course. I was also the co-lead for the module Pharmaceutical Pricing in the online Msc International HTA. I completed my 5-year BPharm course in Pharmacy (Vietnam) in 2009, and then 1-year MSc course in Health Economics and Decision Modelling in 2011 (UK), and finally completed my PhD degree in Health Economics (UK) in 2018. I can communicate fluently in both Vietnamese and English.
