I am helping to leading the Server Delivery Team at UW Medicine IT Services. I support of the Linux and Windows Server Team for the hospital and our commitment to provide a robust and reliable server infrastructure for our customers. We run over 3K servers that support UW Medicine's operations.

I help lead both the Unix and Windows Server Platform Services Teams at UW Medicine in the IT Services Department. We manage over 2K+ Servers for UW Medicine. • Recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, motivating, and managing the performance of all staff within theWindows and Unix Server Engineering teams;• Coordinating and overseeing the operational activities and system maintenance, and ensuring standardservices are meeting appropriate targets;• Prioritizing and distributing the workload throughout the team, managing the day-to-day workflow, andreporting to the manager the status of work assignments;• Providing a point of escalation for operational and other service issues;• Identifying and proposing service management improvements; and• Representing the team to customers, project managers, technical leadership and organizationalmanagement.ETS is a group of teams with in ITS that provides many infrastructure services. Technical PMs are a unified system support group for ETS, including, but not limited to, supporting Infrastructure, Platform, Networks, Data Center, Emergency Management and Application Services, which forms one of the the core IT product lines used by UW Medicine to enable and sustain clinical operations.

Principal, Analytic Systems: IT Services As the Solutions Architect for the ITS Analytics Platform. I work with our Analytics customers to determine business needs and then provide ITS Infrastructure solutions that meet their needs. I coordinate the work between other ITS teams such as the Network, Platform, Infrastructure, Application, Development, Reporting teams.• Escalation Management/Troubleshooting: Coordinating technical issues that arise.• Project Management: Leading system upgrades, system design, infrastructure architecture• Solutions Architect: Working directly with customers to provide direction in augmenting Analytics services to our customers.• Enterprise Projects: I also work on certain enterprise projects that affect IT Services like Epic Upgrades, OLA/RACI documentation for the Enterprise Technology Services. (ETS)

As the Technology Manager for IT Services Analytics at UW Medicine, my team's role is to support not only the Enterprise Data Warehouse Team but also the entire ITS Analytics Department. We help consult and bring in ITS enterprise standards and policies including but not limited to ITS infrastructure, ITS security, ITS server/hw standards., ITS auditing and DR/BC support/implementation. We support over 1PB of data across 3 data centers. Our technologies include HPE (DL580, BL460, DL360), IBM SANs, Microsoft (SQL, Windows, IIS, ADFS, Hyper-V, FOC, AlwaysOn, TFS, SharePoint...), Veeam, TSM/Spectrum and Citrix to name a few.

Managing the technical services infrastructure team for the EMR Clinical Data Repository for Analytics running Caradigm Intelligence Platform (formally known as Microsoft Amalga). I manage Windows Systems Administrators as well as SQL Database Administrators.

I work on the TSO-Amalga (Technical Services and Operations Team for Amalga) team. Amalga is a research data warehouse system created by Microsoft for mining data from other systems to allow anyone to run research query against. At UW Medicine (University of Washington), the Amalga system will be used to help researchers query data from different EMR (Medical Records) systems to allow them to find trends, and help in medical research. It will become one of the largest medical records data warehouse in the Northwest if not the nation.My job is to help build and maintain the infrastructure for this system. This includes, but not limited to Windows Server Administration, SAN Administration, Clustering, SQL Web etc.

Our mission is to support the local chapter in their endeavors to recruit trainee candidates for positions abroad as well as working with local organizations to raise positions here in Seattle. the BOA provides guidance and mentorship to the students that run AIESEC in Seattle.AIESEC is a an organization ran by students for students.
