I am a second-year Bachelor of Commerce student at Queen's University's Smith School of Business in Kingston, Ontario. I originally started out in Queen's Economics program, where I gained a strong foundation in analytical thinking and problem-solving. But my true passion for business led me to make the switch to Queen's Commerce — a shift that took a lot of dedication and resilience, but one that has brought me closer to my goals in marketing and business development. My journey in commerce has been shaped by a range of hands-on experiences across roles in financial administration, sales, and hospitality. Working as a Financial Administrator at Lake City Foods, for example, sharpened my skills in asset management and audit investigations, while my time as a Hostess at Café Landwer taught me the importance of organization and customer relations.Outside of technical roles, my summer as a camp counselor at Camp New Moon gave me valuable leadership experience, organizing activities and fostering a positive environment for young campers. Every role I’ve taken on has been a chance to learn and make a meaningful impact—an approach I hope to carry into future opportunities in business analysis, operations, and customer relations.I’m always excited to connect with others in the field and explore how I can contribute to teams with my background and growing skill set. Let’s connect to see where we can add value together!
