ABOUT MEI've been in health and wellness since 1999. Getting my BS and Gen. Health Science emphasis in Movement and Sports Science and a minor in OLS from Purdue University. From there I attended Massage Therapy School in Ft. Wayne, IN at the Vital Living School of Massage Therapy.I have been practicing Massage Therapy since 2002. I am skilled in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, CranioSacral, Sports/Athletic Massage (including techniques assisting in injury/chronic pain therapy), Reflexology, Hot Stone Massage, Lomi-Lomi Massage and other forms of Therapeutic Massage. I have instruction in personal training to assist my clients by giving them exercises and/or stretches for self-help at home between sessions. In 2004 & 2006 I've traveled to Thailand to learn from the natives Traditional northern style Thai Massage in Chang Mai, Thailand.I have trained since 2009 with the Loomis Institute of Enzyme Nutrition. Under the direction of Dr. Loomis, DC I have gained a knowledge of assessment of the body systems and tissues to formulate a treatment plan by gathering information through palpation exam, Urine analysis, standard blood test results and listening to the patient's symptom case to then determine where enzyme supplementation can best be applied.Most recently during the summer of 2018 I got trained to be a PiYo LIVE Instructor. This allows me to return to contributing to the greater community while maintaining my own wellness and fitness goals.GOALSTo be able to help improve, encourage and inspire each of my clients to better their overall health and wellness through massage, nutrition and wellness.I treat each client that comes to see me as an individual and thus giving them a therapy session unique to their needs. Each session we will discuss issues and goals we are wanting to address and accomplish during the session. In addition, information on stretching, exercises, lifestyle choices, diet and additional treatment recommended, as needed.
