The Monarch is the epicenter of Ogden’s “Nine Rails Creative District” and home to artisans, makers, and creatives of all types. The Monarch offers restaurant/retail and event space (2500 - 10,000 sq. ft.), exhibit and collaborative space (3000 - 4500 sq. ft.), and artisan and designer creative studios (300 - 1500 sq. ft.).The primary goal of the project is to restore this architectural gem, following the strict guidelines published by the U.S. Secretary of the Interior. The restoration will significantly improve the appearance and usability of the building and is vital to achieving Ogden City’s goals to create a cohesive creative / arts corridor, Nine Rails Creative District (#ninerailsogden) connecting the Historic 25th Street and Jefferson District historic districts in downtown Ogden. Since Opening in the Fall of 2019, The Monarch has been published and recognized Nationally.
