Data requirement mapping.

Simulation procedures concerning the structural behaviour of embedded-ring wind turbine foundations, a foundation type with reported damages to the tower-foundation interface. Through the development of numerical models using finite element software, Abaqus, and writing analytical Matlab scripts, results were obtained and analysed for four 3D models of differing numerical assumptions. The research achieved thedesign of a numerical model capable of reproducing field-reported behavioursin the foundation, which is a tool to be used to prevent deterioration and to guide maintenance and rehabilitation plans on existing wind turbine farms.

Responsibilities: financial administration; commercial negotiation with suppliers; company representation before clients; preparation of inspection reports; formulation of service estimated expenses and commercial propositions; construction activities planning and execution.

Internship in the Engineering sector during the supervision of Assembleia Legislativa de Pernambuco's (the state's parliament) new plenary construction and annex building renovation.Responsibilities: 3D modelling of projects (Architectural, Structural and MEP); compatibilization; incompatibility reports; identification of better construction solutions to settle incompatibilities; discussion of alternate solutions directly with designers; monitoring of construction schedule via virtual construction simulations; field inspection.

Internship in a company of real estate development, in the Engineering sector allocated inside the work site for the Verano and Paradiso developments undergoing simultaneous construction at Reserva do Paiva, Pernambuco.Responsibilities: design, compatibilization and coordination of projects for construction; control of the release of projetcts for construction workers and engineers; direct contact with designers to solve any problems identified or request design alterations; quantity measurements of new or revised projects to update the building costs; appication of quality procedures; participation in internal and external audits; computational monitoring of pile location to verify foundation stability with designers.

Internship in a company specialized in engineering projects and consultancy.Main activities: BIM implementation in the sector for building construction supervision, through research; 3D modelling and compatibilization of projects; quantity takeoff; virtual simulation of constructions.
