As the co-founder and CEO of Doce, I am responsible for the overall vision, strategy, and execution of our innovative marketplace app that connects consumers with local businesses through personalized digital gifts. My key responsibilities include:Strategic Leadership: Defining the product vision and strategy, managing product development, and overseeing our go-to-market initiatives.Business Development: Building and nurturing relationships with local business partners to grow our marketplace. I personally lead outreach efforts, manage partnerships, and collaborate with merchants to enhance our offerings.Team Building & Management: Leading a small but dynamic team, aligning on key objectives, and fostering a collaborative culture. I handle recruiting and mentorship of team members and interns.Fundraising & Financial Oversight: Managing investor relations, preparing pitch materials, and overseeing fundraising efforts. I also handle financial planning, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.Marketing & Growth: Developing and implementing growth strategies, including launching promotional campaigns and exploring new channels for user acquisition. I also lead community engagement and user feedback initiatives to iterate and refine the product.Through Doce, I’m working to revolutionize the way people give gifts while driving foot traffic and sales for local businesses.

Contributed to the People Tech team in the development and renovation of an internal scheduling portal. This portal enabled employees to seamlessly sign up for interviews, improving the efficiency and user experience of the interview process. My role involved designing and implementing key features, ensuring the portal was intuitive and user-friendly, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a robust solution that supported the company’s hiring objectives.

Enhanced programming skills in a 6-month intensive training to prepare for a professional role as a software engineer. Learned programming fundamentals, full stack development, Agile, AWS, DevOps, and Cyber Security. Completed a 5 week internship working on Capital One projects with tech stakeholders.
