Seismic Observer - Freelancer by CSSBetween April and June 2020. Offshore USA. On board the MV Shearwater Emerald, source vessel in a marine seismic data acquisition project by node.During this project, I was exposed and familiarized myself with the miniSeal 428 and Reveal systems.I embarked and remained as a solo operator on board during the three weeks of transit from the UK to the USA. During this initial period, I updated myself with the technological changes for this type of vessel and project, performed numerous tests and resolved problems with the online acquisition systems. As soon as we arrived at the GOM, I went through the customer's technical audit and continued to contact the other departments for the best execution of the work.As soon as production started, I was again leading the shift and operating on my own.

I went from the international contract to the Brazilian (Mar/2012) and back to the international (Oct/2016)During this period, I participated in multiple projects, took several classes, worked, and learned a lot from people from multiple backgrounds and worldviews.Some of my general assignments were:● Assistance to the department head in the development of operations and problem solving, providing a cutting-edge customer service.● Operate and maintain the acquisition systems, acquire, record, and monitor seismic data, meet, or exceed the agreed specifications.● Basic handling of computer hardware and software whenever necessary.● Actively using my knowledge to identify and solve problems, I also performed preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment specific to the operation.● Worked with databases and networks.● Composition of comprehensive daily reports sent to superiors.Projects I participated in this period:● 2016 - November to December. Offshore Wellington, New Zealand. On board Amazon Warrior. I participated since the initial meeting, setting parameters, and mobilizing equipment and systems for this project.● 2016 - February to October. Offshore Pemba, Mozambique. I approach Western Trident.● 2015 - January to February. Oslo, Norway. During my pregnancy, I was unable to work offshore and was allocated to the engineering and development office as a field consultant.● 2014 - June to July. Halifax, Canada. I approach Western Regent.● 2014 - February to March. Offshore Mobile, Alabama, USA. On board Western Neptune. Participated in the mobilization of equipment and systems.● 2013 - March 2013 to January 2014. Offshore Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. On board of Western Neptune. I participated from the mobilization, execution, demobilization of the project and transit.● 2012 - January 2012 to February 2013. Offshore Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. On board WG Cook.
