Thaís Brianezi holds a degree in Journalism from the University of São Paulo (2001), a master's degree in Society and Culture in the Amazon from the Federal University of Amazonas (Ufam) and a PhD in Environmental Science also from USP (2013). She is a founding member of the International Environmental Communication Association (IECA), of the School of Activism and counselor of the Brazilian Fund for Environmental Education (FunBEA) and of Action Aid Brasil, in addition to being a member of the National Articulation of Public Policies on Environmental Education (ANPPEA) and of the Brazilian Association of Researchers and Professionals in Educommunication (ABPEDUCOM) and associate editor of the journal Ambiente & Sociedade. She has experience in the area of ​​Communication and Society, Journalism and Educommunication, with an emphasis on socio-environmental issues, acting mainly as a researcher, teacher, project and public policy analyst.
