• One year NNSA Graduate Fellowship Program (NGFP) 2018-2019 • Staff action items, including research, compilation, coordination, and drafting responses from all three sub-offices of GMS from requests from senior leadership in a timely matter• Primary liaison between GMS and Public Affairs responsible for coordinating press releases, website updates, fact sheets and related material• Support the drafting of senior management papers, i.e. background, talking points/meeting memos, briefing slides and other written materials for senior managers on topics such as nuclear nonproliferation, nuclear material security and nuclear/radiological trafficking • Support staff preparations for international meetings • Develop staff meeting notes from the weekly staff meetings with the Associate Deputy Administrator and the directors and deputiesCoordinate input to weekly reports for senior management review

Temporary placement as a Recruitment Assistant for the Global Health Fellows Program II funded by USAID and led by the Public Health Institute.The Global Health Fellows Program (GHFP) II is the US Agency for International Development Global Health (GH) bureau’s premier Fellowship program that identifies and supports diverse, technically excellent professionals at all levels to achieve the USAID’s health priorities.

• Conduct country-specific research and written memos to support delegations in their travels • Translate documents from English to Spanish (and vice versa)• Assist in the planning and preparation of events with VIP guests• Provide administrative and logistical support to the Governance team in Washington DC, including the arrangement of travel and the organization of meetings and conferences • Support in managing accounting and procurement paperwork

- Updated a 2014 report on Gangs in Central America and a 2015 report on Trafficking in Persons in Latin America for Congress- Conducted source language research and translation in Spanish- Presented research findings on gang violence in the Northern Triangle to CRS specialists

- Revised Cooperative Agreements between entities and the PRDNER under the Puerto Rico Urban and Community Forestry Program (PRUCFP)- Assisted in drafting progress reports for the program from FY2009 to FY2015 which resulted in the program delivering timely reports to the U.S. Forest Service- Assisted in updating and monitoring the budget for the federal accounts under the program- Performed administrative tasks to support the program

Legal research, preparation or amendments to draft laws and regulations; explanatory memorials to the Legislature; complaints investigations, interventions and administrative fines in the adjudicative process, support in various legal cases.

As a Student Associate I have been fully trained to use the Lexis® Legal Intelligence suite of online research services and also in how to pass that expertise on to others. Associates provide fellow students with free support and assistance in using Lexis Advance. Students can consult them on problems such as how to find a particular case or statute, how to find all the cases relevant to a specific problem, how best to search in order to maximise results, or even whether a particular journal or other source is available online.

Internship at the Puerto Rico Department of State. Here I worked on security issues; Drafted white papers on global issues that impact Puerto Rico.

Work on civil rights projects that include mental health services, workers’ rights, architectural barriers, education issues, prisoners’ rights, and abuse and neglect investigations in residential facilities. I Attend court hearings and draft memoranda, briefs, and other legal documents as required and requested, interview clients, investigate case matters, analyze pending legislation, and legal research.
