I served as a project manager for AKF's healthcare and science and technology practices. As a project manager, I would work with our clients on some of the most technically challenging projects to deliver solutions with the help of additional sub-consultants as required (structural, architectural, site/civil, cost estimator). Additionally, I oversaw the firm's design & construction of cleanroom pharmacies as the subject matter expert under the new USP 797/800 regulations. From initial client engagement through construction administration, I was continually involved to ensure we delivered what was promised up front. I have provided enterprise level planning for many large healthcare institutions that eventually allow for smaller capital projects to take place along with a plan for enterprise wide compliance. Finally, I was an active member of the diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) committee working to further establish the supportive and welcoming environment for employees of any background to grow and learn together.

My focus is in healthcare with a recent specialization in understanding the workflow and design of drug compounding pharmacies in response to the new federal USP guidelines. My responsibilities include serving as the lead engineer, designer, and BIM leader for TRO. I have a strong passion for the effects of LEAN principles on an organization and serve as an active member of the LEAN Study Action Team at TRO. Some of my experience includes serving as the lead HVAC engineer for healthcare projects including: - TVH Data Center Upgrade: Upgrade for an existing facility to a Tier II HVAC system (Tier III electrical) without shutdown to existing data center infrastructure. Provisions were made for phased construction utilizing temporary equipment and construction techniques to allow for very limited shutdown to the cooling systems. - SFHMC Cancer Center Pharmacy Renovation: Designed a compliant pharmacy that has received approval from the state DPH. This design met the requirements of the newly published USP guidelines including ISO classified spaces and best practices for drug compounding. - BWH Oncology Pod: Designed an Oncology pod utilizing existing infrastructure; protective environment rooms served as the patient rooms in compliance with DPH. - DFCI USP 800 Master Plan: Currently creating a master plan for Dana Farber to upgrade their primary and satellite drug compounding facilities to ensure compliance with the newly published USP guidelines.- Cath Lab Renovations: For different clients, understanding the use case of their existing catheterization labs and what new technologies are available to improve their operations. As the HVAC requirements vary upon the use case of the space, we are tasked with providing a compliant design.

Performed research with a former professor on conductive polymers and graphene on a nano-scale; used computational material science to discover the various properties of these materials.1.Worked with research team to uncover important activation energies for commonly used conductive polymers2.Used MATLAB and Bash on a supercomputer to run simulations

Secured a grant from BU to fund a team of students to analyze the effect of the Sugar OS on urban education in a developing country.
