I was placed in charge of opening and closing the store, and was often involved in merchandising and restocking. I gad the responsibility of supervising and training junior employees, organising the roster and directing the team during high-stress periods. The store required consistent monitoring in order to maintain hygiene and quality standards. Involved answering phone calls, resolving customer complaints, taking orders, and managing stock, alongside face-to-face sales and upselling. During major events (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and Christmas), extensive planning and preparation was required. Major occasions involved working extra shifts, working longer hours, starting early in the morning and long set-ups.
