I worked with the Business Innovation and Capitol Planning departments as a UX designer. I designed prototypes for the DART app and web presence. I met with developers to showcase my mockups. I conducted user research by field testing all of the DART transportation modes such as buses, trains, and ride-sharing. I also created a user testing methods guide for different departments within DART to learn how to conduct user testing.What I accomplished during this role:• Crafted mockups for three new features for the Go Pass app and facilitated communication with developers.• Executed user research over 3 months from field testing on DART transportation and gathering user feedback resulting in a 15-page report on my findings.• Engaged in collaboration with colleagues for a card sort activity aimed at improving the rider’s experience while also independently generating categorization of ideas.• Developed a user testing guidebook including nine methods, to be used as a resource for otherdepartments when testing new features.• Revived organizational, time, and management skills when deciding my own daily schedule.• Partnered with another designer to conceptualize and redesign mockups for two pages on the DART website.
