Support the Home Video Production team by proofreading home video packaging for high-profile anime Blu-Ray and DVD releases in North America, Europe, and Australia, ensuring highly-detailed quality control for packaging and inserts. Proofed components include: product specs, legal language, part numbers, graphic formatting, multilingual copy, and typos. Also proofread and cross-check 100+ page art book scripts and proofs as needed. Light proofreading for packaging copy.

Edit monthly simulpub manga series for Ellation/Crunchyroll. Specializing in action/adventure and avante guarde genres.

For YKS, I edit up to 20-30 simulpub and print manga volumes a month, which is about 15-20 series at a time. Duties include editing page proofs in PDF, cross-checking the translation against the Japanese originals, working with the translator and letterer, and some project management. I occasionally edit other Japanese-to-English pop culture projects such as video games. I can also letter tankobon-length manga in InDesign, and perform art clean-up and redrawing on manga pages as needed.

I've edited over 150 light novels for Yen Press, including hit titles such as Baccano! and Sword Art Online. In this capacity I cross-check translations, rewriting where necessary to localize or recapture story element consistency; smooth the translated manuscript for general readability; and perform line editing and copy editing.

As the AD of a small history and industry museum, I wear many hats at the National Pearl Button Museum. I am in charge of curation, registration, and archival work; the museum's yearly roster of events and member trips; creation of marketing materials and newsletters; and DEAI initiatives for both workers and visitors, a personal passion of mine. Furthermore, I assist the Director in: financial management, including budget decisions and reports; creating materials for presentation to the board; capital campaign planning; communications with external partners; and museum strategic-vision planning. Working alongside the gift shop manager, I also initiate and manage new vendor relationships and source new products. In this role, I increased the museum's overall gift shop profit margin by 25% in just six months. Lastly, I also write grants; manage the museum's social media platforms; create gift shop items; attend community events as the museum's administrative outreach specialist; give tours as a docent; and during busy times run the front desk, welcoming guests and running the gift shop register.

As lead educator for the middle school camp 2021 summer season, I researched, developed, amended, facilitated, and evaluated curriculum for 400+ activities over 10 weeks of science day camp. Each camp had 18-24 students from age 10 to 14, and each week was on a different subject, such as coding, animal science, and urban planning. I also lead the cleaning and preparation of the space and materials, and directed and developed a small team of volunteers and one co-teacher. Overall, we did a lot of messy science and made a lot of good memories for the kids.
