As one of the senior finance team members in the Group, I am entrusted with setting up the Finance Department, ERP implementation and to deliver Administrative tasks, and Human Resources.

Reporting to VP Finance and CEO, responsible for Accounting, banking, financial control and General administration of the Dubai Market Center and Region.

Reporting to VP Finance, responsible for the overall management of Finance Department of the company, which delivers a wide variety of homeowner services from Concierge and A La Carte services to Home Owners Associations and Residents.• Finance & Accounting Management: Manage and control the Accounting and financial activities of the company in order to ensure conformity with company SOP’s, national & international legal regulations and accounting & Reporting Standards. Managing the full Spectrum of Accounting activities up to Finalization.• Team Management: Direct and coordinate the daily activities of the accounting staff to maintain the books of accounts of the company.• Budget & Variance Analysis: Responsible for Planning, forecasting & budgeting, Prepare “what-if" analysis and projected financial statements.• Business Modelling: Developing Business models as part of new revenue stream projections and pricing.• Financial Reporting: Monthly, quarterly and annual financial performance analysis, cash-flow analysis and variance analysis & reviews

• Coordination with Senior Management: Reporting to the Vice President -Asset Management for analysis and periodic reporting of operational results of assets and seeking guidelines for future direction from the top management• Internal Coordination: Coordinating with hotel operators and Home Owners Association’s managers for ensuring the management of critical operational issues of financial nature• Cash flow: Managing the cash flow of the organization along with the distribution analysis and investment projections• Financial Reporting: - Portfolio Performance: Reporting of portfolio performance to relevant stakeholder groups such as investors, consultants and other partners on monthly, quarterly and annual basis• Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analysis, market studies and standard industry reporting through tools such as variance reporting, discounted cash flows, Internal Rate of Return.- Determines cost of operations by establishing standard costs; collecting operational data.- Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.- Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.• Asset Management: - Areas for Efficiency: Undertaking analysis for identifying areas of efficiency in properties and enhanced performance of assets assigned- Full Life Financial Analysis: Assuming responsibility for conducting financial analysis throughout the life cycle from acquisition to disposition- Due Diligence Process: Providing pre-acquisition input and necessary assistance in due diligence process including the review of financial and operational assumptions- Asset Management Division: Managing the financial activities and transactions of the Asset Management Division regarding the pre-opening of hotels, operations of the Home Owners’ Association and other operating assets as Yachts and Jets

• Team Management: Headed the financial services team which is dedicated towards sales and after sales service administration including collection and credit control• Cash flow Forecasts: Prepared and presented projected financials and cash flow forecasts for the developmental projects undertaken by the organization• Monitoring and Review: Reviewed and monitored the actual performance of these developmental projects against the forecasts• Reporting to Senior Management: Reported to the senior finance manager, sought guidance and kept him/her updated with the changing ground realities

• General Ledger: Carried out general ledger functions, account analysis and reconciliation journal entries, account receivables and account payables• Financial Reporting: Closed and prepared financial statements and audit reports on a monthly basis• Project Management: Worked on the project of development and pre opening of a 5-Star Hotel in Dubai under the umbrella of the parent company• Internal Auditing: Conducted internal auditing to maintain financial oversight over the company’s operations

• Operating Reports: Prepared operating reports for the overseas branches of the company on a daily and monthly basis• Inventory Management: Assisted the Chief Accountant in managing computerized inventory• MIS Reports: Generated MIS reports to assist the financial decisions• Reporting to Finance Controller: Reported to the Finance Controller regarding the operational issues and seek direction of important decisions
