I am a Sri Lankan professional currently living and working in Belfast, Northern Ireland. At Desk Warehouse, I work in a role uniquely suited to my "Jack-of-All-Trades" skill set, ensuring all operations run smoothly, be it sales, marketing, delivery planning, inventory, credit control or purchasing.In 2017, I left my job in marketing to start my own business. Over the next 5+ years, I was able to build and manage an extremely successful e-commerce business with my friend and co-founder. Our brand Bear Appeal was all about making quality everyday clothing accessible and convenient to purchase. We built the business around the guiding principles of excellent customer service and exceptional product quality.In 2020, to cater to our ever growing inventory needs, we started Bear Supply Global - a manufacturing company that primarily makes Bear Appeal branded clothing. Over the next few years, Bear Supply Global developed a strong customer base consisting of leading brands and companies in Sri Lanka, Maldives and the UK, making custom branded clothing for staff, events, promotions and a variety of other needs.After moving to Belfast in September 2022, I am no longer operationally involved in Bear Appeal and Bear Supply Global, but both companies continue to grow under the leadership of my co-founder.I have a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. I pride myself in my ability to adapt and learn new things - be it in technology, operational processes, or creative endeavours. In my free time, I enjoy things such as designing movie posters, playing the guitar, and gaming.
