Executed Laying, Testing & Commissioning of MDPE Pipeline of more than 10 km in Chennai GA• Executed Laying,Internal plumbing, Risers, Testing & Commissioning for over 300 household customers, 5 Commercialcustomers.• Operation & Maintenance of Commissioned network of MDPE, Domestic and Commercial connections.• Installation Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance of 2 DCS and 1 DRS.• Planning and survey for MDPE, Steel pipeline laying for more than 100 KM in Chennai and Tiruvallur GA.• Basic knowledge and maintaining quality in site as per ASME, API and PNGRB standards.• Review and Approval of HDD profile and Design calculations.• Liaoning with Government officials i.e., Greater Chennai Corporation, TNEB, BSNL, Chennai Metro water (CMWSSB), TrafficDepartments for application and permissions of laying pipeline.• Completed training of 6 months in various departments of CGD i.e., CNG projects and O&M, Steel projects and PE PNG projects.• Day to day site visit & handling of site issues/ site management• Coordination with vendor/Contractor/TPI/Outsource Engineer• Material issues & Reconciliation, preparation of DPR & MIS• Ensure EHS Compliance, Ensure work quality, trained manpower at site

I learnt more about City Gas Distribution. I have got trained and worked in Steel, PE PNG, CNG projects, CNG O&M, Satey etc. Lot of technical things, handling of project, adhering T4s PNGRB guidlines, Particular Technical Specifications etc.After completion of training I have been working in PE PNG department. It is so excited to work in this department,as we are handling lot of PNG connections to Domestic, Commercial, Industrial customers. And also Operation & maintenance to the completed projects, planning for upcoming projects, Pipeline design etc.
