I also have a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wits University, Project Management Qualification as well as Management Development Program (MDP). I have 5 years’ experience in a Steel Manufacturing industry where the outputs were target driven. I also have more than 12 years experience in the utilities industry (SOE) which have all been in managerial positions. As a Maintenance Manager (Auxiliary Plants), I manage a team of more than 100 employees and an annual budget of more than R65 million. My responsibilities include Asset Management, Maintenance Strategic Planning, Business Improvement, Contracts Management, Maintenance Projects Management and Execution, Budgeting and Cost Center owner (Financial Budget and Expenditure Management).
