Opening and maintaining warehouses and sales offices throughout the midwest, and California put me in a five star road warrior category and loved it. Developing and implementing innovative recruiting campaigns for salespeople to grow the company's delivery fleet from 1 to 35+ vehicles per state of operation within a 36-month period after opening our first office in Minnesota, were memorable and exciting times.-Growing sales annually from $200,000 to $3 million per territory was our vision and mission. It took managing office and clerical workers to a whole new level for me, a very humbling experience.-Developed a vehicle management protocol ensuring safety and DOT compliance for each fleet per state.- Developed an inventory control system to ensure product accountability and integrity.- Customized product packaging to function better, increasing efficiencies and margins in both sales and inventory control.

Yes, straight out of high school I sold Kirby vacuum cleaners Door to Door and loved it. As soon as I learned the scripts and became proficient at packing and unpacking the "Legend" (The model at the time) I would knock doors every weekend and pack and unpack that machine every chance possible.I knocked doors and sold throughout my college years and with each year Kirby sent me to an exotic spot on the planet to talk about "how to", and "how did I" do it. I remember telling the audience at one of the company conventions that sub zero temperatures were your friend - "At -10 degrees anyone that came to the door always let you in".It was from this experience that I learned anything is possible when armed with the right attitude, intestinal fortitude, and clear vision.
