In our progressively stressful world, how environmental challenges affect the neurodevelopmental trajectory is of my utmost interest. I am particularly focused on how environmental insults during sensitive periods of neuroplasticity - from perinatal to adolescence - impact the brain energy metabolism, leading to behavioral outcomes related to neurodevelopmental disorders, such as schizophrenia and autism. My goal is to advance brain research by aiding in the development of pharmacological/nutritional strategies to alleviate behavioral deficits caused by stressful conditions.🎓 BSc in Pharmacy (2016), University of São João Del Rei, Brazil🕵🏻‍♀️ MSc in Pharmacology (2018), Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil👩🏻‍🔬 Ph.D. in Pharmacology (2023), University of São Paulo, Brazil. 🧬 During my Ph.D. (2022), I developed part of my project thesis, and I was trained in sophisticated bioinformatic approaches, as transcriptomic analysis, in the Laboratory of Behavioral Genetics (LGC) at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL, Switzerland), supported by a Brazilian Federal Government Scholarship (PrInt, CAPES).
