I graduated from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. My bachelor's degree qualifies me in a wide range of areas from the design, development, and use of machines and machinery to the calculation and design of structures and installations. While I was studying my degree, I actively participated on a FSAE team (Prodimus Design) cooperating with their projects. Due to this collaboration, I based my final degree project on the study and design of a suspension system for a two-seater vehicle prototype. In this project I designed, calculated and analysed both the suspension system of the vehicle and the redesigning of the tubular subframe according to the requirements of the suspension. Additionally, I worked as a trainee on Publexcan, a local company that offers marketing and advertisement services. During my trainee period, I elaborated, executed and implemented a maintenance plan of the machinery. Moreover, I did administrative tasks as well as contacted with suppliers.Regarding my experience, I have worked in Hidramar Group as a Junior Estimation Engineer. The tasks that I carried out were, among others, the collection and analysis of the information provided by the project engineers, the exhaustive review of the relevant design plans for the realization of the quotations, the breakdown of materials, the estimation of budgets and the subsequent elaboration of offers from the data collected. Finally, I provided technical support to other engineers during the realization of the estimations.Recently, I participated in two courses: Vehicle dynamics and Setup and Telemetry and data acquisition both taught by Roberto Bueno (Data Engineer at Porsche Motorsport LMP1 Racing) in Madrid. These courses gave me a deeper comprehension on vehicle dynamics, their setup and how to adapt it depending on the problems they may had. Also, I studied data acquisition and the tools used for the treatment of that data. Furthermore, I am fluent in English (FCE), and I have knowledge of several softwares used on the industry (SolidWorks, MatLab, AutoCad, etc.).
