One of the biggest challenges working at DV8 Film was having to do street castings. We visited primary schools from most areas of Johannesburg, searching for one lead boy for a German feature film which exhibited in the Annual German Film Festival. My love for working/ cast coaching kids was developed in this company. Working with such raw hidden talent demanded extra work and strategic planning to keep the young thespians interested in the activities at hand as well as having to help them interpret the text and what the director needed from them.

Thandeka was a brand ambassador for different brands such as Nestle, GSK, Clover, Rickett Benckiser and many more. This job required a lot of product knowledge, confidence and excellent communication skills as well as the ability to capture your customers' attention in order for you to seal the deal in less than a minute. This kind of work required someone that was willing to travel, with some campaigns requiring the Brand Ambassaders to travel 7 South African provinces in a space of 2 months. This meant long hours on the road and adapting to each community's way of life.
