I hold 10 years’ experience in Control and Automation (C&A) as well as Asset Management (AM). I am an expert in PLC and SCADA programming, instrumentation installation and maintenance. I also focus on development and execution of asset management strategies which include equipment maintenance and replacement plans. Through the Process Control Systems (PCS) Engineer role I have been able to ensure sustainable integrity and stable operation of the PCS technology, automation infrastructure and provide a centre of excellence service to the PCS systems in Food and Beverage Industry, Power Generation Plants, System Integrator and Mining Environments by proactively recommending and implementing best practices within the Control and Automation arena. To name a few I have worked on Allen Bradley, Siemens & Wonderware equipment (PLC, IOs, HMI) and Softwares.I have successfully delivered critical projects while ensuring cost effective simplified solutions. Being responsible for the technology research, development, testing and implementation of C&A as well as AM standards has ensured governance in my area of expertise and responsibility. My area of focus in asset health management has been developing asset management strategies. My qualification portfolio comprises of Reliability Centred Maintenance, Asset Criticality Assessments, Maintenance Plans Review, Replacement Strategy, Shutdown Management and Root Cause Failure Analysis. I am able to engage with Operational, Engineering, Manufacturing, Mine and Smelter Stakeholders effectively and develop Service Level Agreements to ensure KPIs are achieved through mutually established expectations. I have also been involved in Vendor and Contractor Relationship Management in order to determine Service Agreements, Parts Management Agreements and Equipment Life Cycle Plans. I am accustomed to performing annual Operational Expenditure (OpEx) Budget and Forecast, as well as preparing monthly Cost & Expenditure Analysis Reports. In terms of Capital Expenditure (CapEx), I am familiar with conducting Risk Analysis and then preparing a CapEx plan based on the prioritisation from the Risk Analysis Report.Strong leadership qualities in multi-disciplinary teams has ensured delivery of projects and exceeding KPIs. I am a great team player, highly self- motivated individual, who can work under no supervision and works well under pressure while willing to put in extra hours in order to meet my targets and beyond.
