National Statistics System developoment, is the unit within statssa which works with other government department on improving quality statistics The measurement, standards and capacity development therefore makes sure that all the various stakeholders are equiped with the South African Statistical Quality Assessment framework (SASQAF) by providing the SASQAF training and checking if their statistics meets all the 9 dimensions of quality as stipulated by the SASQAFWe thus ensure that all the statiscs producing agencies produce official statistics
