Good Day, I am currently working as a receptionist for the South African Local Government Association in KwaZulu Natal (SALGA KZN). My duties as the receptionist include ensuring the front desk and entrance are managed at all times, coordinating logistics of boardroom meetings, providing secretarial and administration support, managing telecommunication and messages from visitors, supporting and assisting stakeholders and municipalities with information and their enquiries as well as heading any other responsibilities if and when required to do so.Prior to joining SALGA KZN as the receptionist, I was employed as the head Administrator at Kuhle Events and Traveling, tasked with managing the day-to-day administration tasks of the company such as Data capturing, record keeping and filling, preparing quotations, drafting client letters and communication, office telecommunication, handling queries, formulating statements and the logistics of products to name a few responsibilities. I am also a former Executive Assistant to the CEO at Dubaway Trading (PTY) Ltd, who was tasked with handling day-to-day administration tasks, meeting and function attendance, filing and collection of documentation as well as aiding the Managing Director with all Executive tasks that are required by the company. My work experience, however, started at the South African Local Government Association (SALGA) where I worked as an intern within the Municipal Finance and Community Development Departments for a contractual period of one year. I, to this day, have obtained a combined work experience of seven (7) years deriving from both the Public and Private sectors of South Africa.
