I am a health data and analytics actuary focused on unlocking value and improved outcomes from data sources across the health value chain. I currently lead the actuarial, statistical, and data analytics teams at Amplify Health, a leading provider of innovative healthcare solutions in the APAC region.My core competencies include designing and delivering robust and accurate analytical products and frameworks, managing and growing a world-class, multinational team, and recommending the optimal analytical architecture, technology, and software design. I also have a strong entrepreneurial interest, having founded Zonotho, a financial literacy platform and KaryKase, a successful online bag and luggage retailer whose mission is to elevate South African brands. I enjoy building and taking teams from zero to one and beyond. As a trained actuary with a strong interest in data analytics, I am conversant in data science and data engineering methodologies, techniques and tools; from team development and organization building to software development and architecture, including cloud capabilities and governance considerations. On personal note I am passionate about seeing potential unlocked, particularly as it pertains to the development of communities across Africa and Asia - regions I’ve had the privilege of being a part of.
