Mr. Brown, a retired Procter & Gamble executive, presently volunteers with SCORE. There he does pro-bono consulting for small and startup businesses, focusing on business plan development, strategy planning, business management, financial planning, financial feasibility, and financial management. Additionally, he is serving on the Chemical Engineering Advisory Boards at The University of Dayton and the University of Cincinnati. At those universities, he also is a guest lecturer. He regularly speaks about: o Success at Work, Engineering Careers, Process Synthesis Methodology, The Economic Responsibility of Engineers, and Investing Fundamentals. After retiring from P&G, he taught Engineering Economics and Plant Design at the University of Cincinnati and The University of Dayton. Mr. Brown spent 36 ½ years with Procter & Gamble, retiring as Manager of North American Engineering where he was responsible for product and facilities engineering in North America. He spent his career in Engineering and Manufacturing primarily in the Food and Beverage, HSE and Project Management areas. Lastly, Mr. Brown is an author. He wrote "Engineering Economics and Economic Design for Process Engineers", which was published by CRC Press in 2006. He has also published a number of articles in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering Progress, and Hydrocarbon Processing. He continues to write for these engineering magazines. Moreover, he is a co-author of "A Weekend with the Zombies", a children's book. Mr. Brown is presently working on another book "Success at Work (and in Life)".
