For the last 25 years I've worked in the Cattle Feeding Industry.I started out cleaning stock tanks,haying cattle,cleaning pens,etc. I moved up to Feed Mill maintenance and then Feed Mill Manager.A year later I moved my wife and two children to Oberlin Ks. were I started a new job as assistant Manager at a 10,000 head Commercial Feed Yard.After two years the General Manager left and I moved up to that Position.This job gave me a great opportunity to learn and develop many skills. my responsibilities included:Hiring/Terminating EmployeesTraining,Supervising and Directing 12-13 EmployeesOverseeing the purchase of 25,000 + cattle yearlyDeveloping and Coordinating the Feeding and Cattle Health ProgramsPurchasing all Commodities needed for the operationMarketing of Finished Cattle Recruiting Customers and providing them with Financial and Commodity ContractsMaintaining all required State and Federal permits OSHA compliance and safety programsConsulted with the accountant on Financials
