This is my personal angel fund, where I pick 1-2 startups per year to ideally invest the first $5-10K and help these founders raise their first $100K+. My 1st angel fund (2013-16) has returned 4.4X DPI and 6.2X TVPI so far. For my 2nd fund (2017-21), I simply bought and held crypto (mostly BTC and ETH). Now in my 3rd fund (2022-??), I'm back to writing first checks to startups and especially looking to invest in angel/pre-seed biotech startups led by scientist CEOs!

Labdoor is a consumer watchdog that independently tests and ranks supplements and other health products for our 20M+ users. We raised a 2013 Seed led by Mark Cuban, joined Y Combinator in Winter 2015, raised a 2016 Series A led by Floodgate, and are now operating profitably. I founded Labdoor in February 2012 and was CEO from our May 2012 incorporation until December 2020. I am now Chairman and lead special projects including fundraising, M&A, and strategic partnerships.

Air To All is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that designs, produces, and distributes low-cost medical devices. Our long-term goal is to distribute millions of affordable medical devices along with sustainable training and supplies to end decades-long shortages in underserved communities.I've been Air to All's founder & CEO since its origin. I recruited the initial 500+ volunteers, built the leadership team, led the 501(c)3 process, and managed the board.I'm also leading our Air to Ukraine initiative to send hundreds of live-saving medical devices to the front lines of Eastern Ukraine to support the relief efforts.

Personally advised my dad, Shri Thanedar, in his campaigns for US Congress (2024 Win, 2022 Win), State Representative (2020 Win), and Michigan Governor (2018 Loss).2024: Advocated for new pro-startup, pro-immigration, and pro-mental health bills in the 118th Congress. Planned a ground + air media strategy to earn 50%+ of the votes in a 3-way race and win the City of Detroit for the 6th straight time. Won the Democratic primary with 42,786 votes (+20.0%).2022: Outlined an electoral strategy to win Michigan's new 13th Congressional district. Worked with the candidate nearly daily to test and alter the plan in real-time. Won the Democratic primary with 22,302 votes (+4.8%) and the General Election with 166,203 votes (+47.1%).2020: Ran finances (as Treasurer) and was a key member of his "Kitchen Cabinet" in his winning campaign for Michigan State Representative for District 3 in Detroit in 2020. Won the Democratic primary with 4,745 votes (+14.5%) and the General Election with 28,575 votes (+89.7%).2018: Key advisor on communications, marketing, and candidate prep in his run for Michigan Governor. Earned the votes of 200,645 Michiganders. Won the City of Detroit in the 2018 Democratic Primary for Governor.

Avomeen Analytical Services is a full-service chemical testing laboratory specializing in deformulation, pharmaceutical testing, product development, and chemical litigation support services.In my roles as founding CEO and President, I helped drive the business from formation to profitability, running key marketing, sales, finance, legal, and regulatory projects including launching our website, developing our first marketing channels, setting up our accounting and HR systems, and applying for FDA and DEA registration.

The Detroit Partnership coordinates one-time and weekly service-learning programs by organizing University of Michigan students and partnering with Detroit schools and community organizations in the Brightmoor and Southwest neighborhoods. I served as Site Leader/Planning Team Member from 2007-08, Finance Director from 2008-09, and Executive Director from 2009-10.

UMMIC supports clinicians to successfully pursue healthcare innovation ideas and overcome early development barriers such as funding, business models, regulatory challenges, and patent landscape.
