Using agile and CICD development methodologies, led a 20 person R&D organization in the creation of Mitel’s next generation of cloud native UC applications. In partnership with Amazon (AWS Chime), built and released an MVP of a modern video collaboration application called MiTeam Meetings in 8 months. This application allows for up to 100 participants to participate in video meetings from their favourite browser or using the downloadable desktop application. Migrated application development post MVP to Kanban-inspired CICD delivery model with weekly updates to the market including enhancements, UX improvements, new features and bug fixes. Built and released a mobile and web/desktop communications application called MiVoice Office featuring softphone, call history, direct chat, group chat, streams, directory, presence and integration with MiTeam Meetings. Delivered weekly updates to the web experience and monthly mobile app releases.Spearheaded the creation of a UX Design System, enabling Mitel R&D to create web applications with exceptional user experiences efficiently and consistently.
