A forthcoming school where exceptional students spend their final two years of high school taking on planet-sized problems like climate change, human civilization design, and economic inequality. During their time at the Planet School, students will move between three campuses in Michigan representing three major ecosystems:1) A sailing vessel on the Great Lakes and Atlantic Ocean, 2) An urban campus in the city of Detroit, 3) A wilderness campus on a rural, undeveloped plot of forest in Northern Michigan.

At Sea

Responsible for leading watch groups of 6-7 college students during 5-6 week voyages, which includes overseeing ship operations, safety, and the hands-on learning of the students. Have sailed as a Student, Deckhand/Asst. Engineer, 3rd Mate, 2nd Mate, and Chief Mate. This role is intermittent when shore life permits me to go to sea for weeks at a time.

Oversee Nueva's Internship Program, which connects eligible Nueva upper school students with partner organizations for summer internships.

Part classroom instructor, part mentorship program, part pedagogical learning with a focus on teaching gifted students. My classroom role has been as a co-teacher of 6th grade and 8th grade computer science.

Oversaw the execution of Proctor Academy’s learning objectives on board Roseway during their iconic Ocean Classroom semester as well as taught Marine Literature and Maritime History.

Led negotiation and creation of partnerships globally as well as portfolio strategy and oversight. These were usually to lead a company's India entry or expansion strategy and/or operations. Launched a creative studio whose first project was to create India's premiere indie art fair, "The Irregulars."
