At exo-s I am Responsible for managing and directing production and Continuous Improvement activities within our Tier 1 Automotive facility. I coordinate the production of parts, ensures machines are repaired and running efficiently with minimal scrap loss, and manage our production associates also the continuous improvement team. My primary responsibilities are to :Preside over the production of parts and insure they are 100% efficient with as little scrap loss as possible .Analyze and reduce waste in our value streams and all current state processes. Sustain and improve matierials kanban system.Ensure products are created on time.Test machines for disrepair and malfunctions and improvements .Set and meet production goals cost reduction activities .Purchase and calibrate machines test new technologies .Hire, train, and supervise associates and teams.Correct problems on production lines and production systems .Maximize the production process to reduce waste and increase profit.Change production levels and staffing on different product lines to minimize inventory levels and reduce any waste.Sustain product standards improve current state standards .Oversee entire plant.Implement and oversee quality control, lean programs and tools for waste reduction programs, cost saving projects for the plant.Work with outside suppliers to increase quality of raw materials.Coordinate with different departments in the manufacturing plant to ensure TPM, SMED, and Kaizen Blitz, Kanban, Cost Savings Projects are at 100% success rate.Work with the financial departments to come up with a budget and spending plan.Work as a team with department managers, suppliers, and procurement departments.Work with R&D and Engineering with new technology that can be used in the production process.Approve expenditures for supplies and materials.Develop production schedules and duty assignments.Ensure compliance with workplace safety programs current state, and future state.
