• Perform incoming material inspection, initiate the Material Certificate Review card (MCR) and ensure the material unique identity is transferred onto the material prior to cut and maintain batch code register.• Conduct / perform mechanical testing which includes tensile (Universal Testing Machine) and hardness (Rockwell) testing.• Perform visual inspection, Magnetic Particle Test & Liquid Dye Penetrant Test on pipes, fittings, flanges or other materials where tests are requested. Have hands on experience in the wet Magnetic Particle Testing and Dye Penetrant Test method. • Prepare Non Conformance Report (NCR), Preventive Action Request (PAR) and initiate Corrective Action for every violation and out of standard.• Carried out the customer / Third Party Inspection as per ASME, ASTM, ASNT-TC-1A codes and standards. Monitor & ensure inspection activities of all lots at different stages to meet customer requirements before dispatch. • Monitor line inspection.• Inspection of Raw material. (Visual & dimensional, verification of mill test certificates against applicable code’s specification.) Performed final inspection, check the products as per standard / approved ITP and preparation of final QA/QC documentation.• Report issues to the Manager and issue Non Conformity Report (NCRs) if any violation and out of standard for piping works for non-conforming work or processes.• Handle diverse activities simultaneously and ability to work in a matrix organization.
