(1) IE8 Migration: During IE8 migration most of our applications were impacted with major issues. Though the issue in IE8 product, we are not depending on Microsoft Engineering team's solution, since we have the deadline for our launch. I put an effort to find a solution & the solution not only used for logistic applications; it was communicated to all other impacted applications and gets their issue solved.(2) SuSE Linux Migration: Identified & avoided a huge Business Loss on OFM&VLD Apps. Also Notified to porting team a Critical Business impacts during DNS Cut-over. During second DNS Cutover for MP&L Apps, team had come across critical issues. Provided technical support & ensured timely migration of Major programs in final minutes though the support event happened during on weekend.Successfully Launched all assigned MP&L - PFS New Utility servers. Technically supported various teams & received Excellent Feedback from TR Utility Team.(3). Proposed and delivered cubing solution for APA (saved the approx. $40K).SDS - NA cubing application extended to APA region. - Aligned with the global process - Saved Server hosting (Web server , Load server, DB server), infrastructure, Maintenance cost.(Approx. $22K)Delivery - The Overall Project cost was estimated at $85K. But team contained the cost within $41K & saved $44K, by - Deploying easy way to transfer the data from CMMS to Cubing Load server. - Using existing program to load the staging data feeds.Additional Features - Aids better cube utilization during transportation - Aids in identifying savings during logistics supplier bidding - Design and development of comprehensive report on volume calculation using TEU mapping and logical series of formula to calculate the next 3 consecutive years forecast.

Project : PFS (Plant Floor System Suite) Environment : Oracle 11g, TERADATA, Reports 9i, UNIX, SQL Loader, PERL/ CGI. Domain : Manufacturing.EWIE process in GPAE system:Currently, Ford is using the EWIE automated machines, a Commodity Management Supplier (CMS) supplier to provide line side commodity tools and abrasives but there is minimal sharing of information and no automated way to integrate the data within existing Ford reports and security. The IT Infrastructure exists to permit this data exchange but certain interfaces, schedules, protocols and security are needed to present and share this data. The major Modules are Knitting Production, Purchase, Inventory, Quality Assurance, Bill Tracking, Invoice generation and Data Transfer. The key features of fabric outsourcing is ability to plan the process, sampling, vendor finalization, comparison of planned and actual process loss, Production efficiency planning, order tracking, payment reconciliation with normal/abnormal loss calculation, order reconciliation with sampling, Supplier wise process loss comparison, MIS reports etc…Role Description:• Performed Functionality test and Unit Test.
