I joined McGing Advisory & Actuarial in early 2022 to help support the firm in the superannuation and wealth management market, including retirement incomes and life insurance. We provide personalised service to directors and senior executives to assist in the resolution of business issues, including financial records, insurance products, internal processes, and operational improvements relating to regulatory change. As an Actuarial Consultant at McGing, I enjoy being able to provide our clients with a comprehensive service and guide them through the analysis that we conduct. A highlight of my position has been applying my financial background to clients’ situations, weaving together financial theory into practical challenges.

I joined the firm on a part-time basis and supported the firm in providing accounting services to small-to-medium sized organisations. A highlight of this role was developing a strong proficiency in the Xero accounting software, allowing me to further support clients in an effective, comprehensive manner.

My latest role as a pricing manager of home loans included the provision of financial projections and modelling to illustrate potential impacts of strategic pricing changes, implementing initiatives to improve trust between NAB and its customers, as well as developing detailed product profitability reports. A highlight from this role was working directly with bankers and help them bring their customers closer to their goal of home ownership.

I joined NAFM as an Actuarial Analyst supporting the Chief Actuary in developing and reviewing complex calculations including long service leave calculations, unit pricing calculations and investment projections for high net-worth clients. A highlight of this role was conducting the monthly valuations of policy liabilities, performance analyses, and calculating rates of returns for a variety of products.
