My company's mission statement is to improve lives through nature as an amenity. In simple words, landscape architecture is the design of the outdoor space. However, with the right mindset and skillset, it can be tailored to wellness for people, places, and animals. Nature is one of the dimensions to human wellness with some of the others being socializing well, exercise, a nutritious diet, good sleep, occupational wellness, fun hobbies, laughter, and so on. Moreover, one can see how many of these activities can take place in the outdoor environment so there's a lot of room for creative interactions between wellness and the outdoor space.
