- Research on improving the electrical conductivity of melt-processed CNT Polymer Composites and investigating the relationship between melt processing conditions and CNT polymer composite structure at CNT-Application Research Center.- Involve in designing high-performance EMI shielding panels made by CNT polymer composites at Team of Application for Carbon nanotubes Composites (TACC).- Research on the fabrication of plasticized CNT polymer nanocomposites using supercritical carbon dioxide, in collaboration with the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology.

Engaged in co-supervision of a research maters and a doctoral student at Department of Advanced Fibro-Science of Kyoto Institute of Technology.

Joining industry-driven collaborative research with the Toyobo Research Center to solve the following issues:- Developing the advanced fiber-interaction model for fiber orientation prediction of high filler content polymer composites in different cavity geometries.- Designing a favorable surface quality of embossed decorative injection-molded automotive parts from considering the fiber orientation.- Investigating the correlation between fiber orientation distribution and mechanical property of glass-fiber-reinforced composite materials.
