Thanos specializes in Algorithmic Operational Research and Business Intelligence fields. He has graduated Informatics and Telecomunications department of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and he is a PhD Researcher at the National Technical University of Athens. He has coordinated various Europeran Research Programs and at the same time he has developed optimization and data analytics software platforms for international companies in Greece. Voluntarily and in terms of his social responsibility he has developed advanced software systems for the non-profit organizations "Aegean Team" and "Make a Wish". Since 2017 he works as Director of Technology for "PAPPAS B.I. Technology". From this position and also as TABLEAU International partner, he has managed various Business Intelligence and Data Analytics projects in Greece, Cyprus, Germany and Romania in sectors such as banking, insurances, pharmaceuticals, maritime, heavy industry, telecommunications, law and others.He is an active Judo athlete and in his free time he prefers to practice sailing and playing chess.
