I am a Mechanical Engineer (Dipl.-Ing., 2007) specializing in composite materials for applications in aerospace and transport. From November 2007 to July 2013, i was a PhD candidate at the Applied Mechanics Laboratory/UoPatras (GR). Between January 2010 till June 2011, I relocated to the Netherlands and worked as an engineer in the Materials Technology Section of the European Space Agency Technology Center (ESA/ESTEC) under the framework of the ESA Greek Trainee Program. In July 2011 i returned to Greece to continue my research towards doctorship which was successfully defended in July 2013.
