At bindbops, we see a future where we can instantly have digital access to a ton of important and useful information when looking at any equipment. This information currently exists in unstructured resources like labels, manuals, and action logs but needs to be codified. This is exactly what we do with our knowledge extraction layer.

I am currently heading wapo.io, a technology start-up with the mission to connect buildings and people in friendly, easy and purposeful ways. Our approach introduces a social approach to building operations by leveraging the power of IoT and social networks. Our product is a Building Operations Platform for sustainable enterprises and their service providers. By using conversational UX as the common interface for all stakeholders, we help customers increase productivity, transparency and energy efficiency in their buildings. We are Based in Amsterdam and accelerating with the Smart Energy@Rockstart until August 2016.

During 6 years in building service and maintenance, I grew big interest in energy savings of commercial buildings. Combined with my software and data analytics passion, a new software department was born in Delphis SA. Its goal was to empower our customers with in depth analytics in order to facilitate their energy management strategy. Our expertise was in system integration, energy analytics and fault detection.

I started as the operations & technology officer at the Building Services department of Delphis , initiating, designing and implementing essential software and hardware infrastructure for improving business operations. This infrastructure spanned from Logistics to Field Service Management, creating an in-house technology stack, which made the company more competitive, lowered its costs and helped significantly the adopted business growth model. Apart from technology, I was also responsible for the continuous improvement and quality assurance of all services operations. For another 3 years I expanded my work being the general manager of the department by adding business development on the top of my portfolio goals list.
